The Presbyterian Women meet the third Sunday of the month at 9am at the Church in the Sunday School room area. Presbyterian Women offer women in the church meaningful ways to live out their faith in the midst of a caring community of women and play a major role in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ by and witnessing to the promise of God’s kingdom.
Our Purpose:
- to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study
- to support the mission of the church worldwide
- to work for justice and peace
- and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.
We coordinate events such as our Annual Bazaar and Strawberry Festival to raise funds. The proceeds are disbursed to local families in need, charities, mission work and the community. Our current effort is with the Bridge of Hope, an organization that assists single mothers avoid homelessness, two local families in need and the Phillipsburg Windy Hill Village, a Presbyterian senior living community.
