Who are we as a congregation?
Pine Grove Presbyterian Church is a warm, diverse, dynamic faith community with people of many ages and generations coming together to worship and serve together. We are firmly rooted in the biblical tradition and look forward to how the Holy Spirit leads us moving forward.
Pine Grove Mills is a small community in Ferguson Township, Pennsylvania. Located just outside of State College (home of Penn State University’s main campus), the township has approximately 19,000 residents. Nestled at the base of the mountain in an otherwise rural area, we are only a few short hours from major urban areas such as Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York City, and Washington, D.C. While small, our community provides a cozy, small-town atmosphere, with all the amenities of a larger city nearby. PGPC is particularly known within the community for providing services for those with food insecurity (Aunt Pat’s Pantry), sponsoring the local Cub Scout Pack 44, coordinating and hosting regular Town Talk gatherings, and several other events and activities
